Six members of East Lothian Pony Club qualified for the national intermediate championships at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire, where Douglas Crawford took individual showjumping honours.

The successful qualifiers were (left to right) Olivia Morison, Izzy Bamford, Douglas Crawford, Eilidh Whiteford, Kirstin Bamford and Jessie Broad.

In the team eventing East Lothian finished fourth with a tenth place finish in both team dressage and showjumping.

Individually Izzy Bamford on Ech Na Sliabh qualified for the Individual Showjumping alongside Douglas on Jacaranda Prince while Jessie Broad qualified for the individual dressage.

Placings in the individual eventing were: 3rd, Olivia Morison (Viterbo); 6th, Izzy Bamford (Ech Na Sliabh); 7th, Eilidh Whiteford (Flash Steel); 8th Jessie Broad (Ballytarsna Checkmate).
