Trampolinist Lauren Miller enjoyed a week to remember when she went from university graduation to a gold medal at the British +17 trampoline championships at Telford.
First up, Lauren graduated Bsc in sports and exercise science from Napier University then swapped gown for leotard to successfully negotiate preliminary rounds at Telford in second place.
The following day, she gave one of her best performances yet despite battling a ‘flu bug to claim her first British title, while City of Edinburgh club mate Molly Short also excelled in qualifying. In the 13 to 14-year-old girls section she missed out on a final place by just 0.8 points.
Our photographs show Lauren flanked by City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club coaches Kayleigh Jeffrey and Lauren Jeffrey while she was accompanied to her graduation by mum Sandra, also a club official.
