GOALKEEPER Sean Hadfield has urged Grange to secure their first win in the competition as they take on the continent’s hockey elite in Hamburg this weekend.

The Stockbridge side face German cracks Harvestehuder THC – who won the competition two years ago – and Austrian champions AHTC Wien in the EuroHockey League tomorrow.

Hadfield, 23, said: “For the majority of our team, this will be their first time playing in the EHL so it will be incredible to play the hosts in front of a home crowd.” He added: “We’ve had European experience before in the second tier. That really showed us how clinical we’ll need to be at the highest level.”
