EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY aim to dent Grove Menzieshill’s perfect record when the Tayside team visit on Division One hockey business tomorrow.

The students are fourth in the ten-strong table with eight points from four starts.

Newly-promoted Grove are third with nine points from three games thanks to a weekend in which they thrashed Gordonians 9-1 and beat Dundee Wanderers 3-1.

In the women’s Division One, leaders Edinburgh University, who are out front on goal difference from Grove Menzieshill – both having 12 points from four games, cross the city to square up to CALA Edinburgh, who are seventh with six points.

Erskine Stewart’s Melville Ladies, who are sixth with six points, are visited by struggling Western Wildcats, while Watsonians, who are second-bottom and pointless, visit fifth-placed Milne Craig Clydesdale Western.
