FIVE Inverleith players have been included in Scotland’s 12-strong squad for an indoor hockey tournament in Belgium this weekend.

Stephen Dick, Dan Coultas, Jamie Wong, Gordon Amour and Patrick Christie have been selected.

Scotland will play the hosts plus England and French side Lille in the event but Scottish Hockey bosses have decided that men’s domestic Division One indoor fixtures at Dundee on Saturday will still go ahead.

This will affect Inverleith, the defending champions, who will be without their key quintet.

Also included in the Scotland squad are former Grange striker Hamish Imrie, who currently plays for Nottingham-based Beeston, Grange goalkeeper Sean Hadfield, David Forester, an ex-Edinburgh University player, plus former Grange star Wei Adams, currently at leading English side Canterbury.

Scotland: David Forester (Villa Primrose), Sean Hadfield (Grange), Stephen Dick, Dan Coultas, Jamie Wong, Patrick Christie, Gordon Amour (Inverleith), Callum Duke (Hillhead), Gavin Byers (Grove Menzieshill), Wei Adams (Canterbury), Hamish Imrie (Beeston), Murray Collins (Loughborough University).
