Inverleith hockey club go into tomorrow’s indoor play-off final showdown with arch rivals Grove Menzieshill in a positive frame of mind.
They should be at full strength at Bell’s, Perth (push-off 4.45pm).
But coach Stuart Neave is under no illusions about the task against last season’s runners-up, despite his team being unbeaten indoors since the first game of last season.
Neave said: “I have a full squad of players available and Grove Menzieshill may try something different.
“We won their Festive season tournament in Dundee and beat them 6-4 in our only league meeting indoors this season. I felt that didn’t reflect the way the game went.
“The scoreline could have been wider. So, we’ve not lost to them so far this season but we have to be careful.
“It is about what we do on the day – not past history.”
