GRAHAM MOODIE returns to domestic duties tomorrow as Edinburgh University square up to Division One hockey champions Kelburne.

Moodie has been coaching Scotland Under-21s for a double-header with Spain in Madrid this week and will include three players from that squad – Jamie Wong, Aedan McCrossan and Gordon Amour – in his line-up against the league leaders at Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre.

The students’ coach, whose side have only won one of their last five matches, said: “The guys all want to play Division One hockey and they all want to play against the best.

“Kelburne have won the league for the last nine seasons and they are, once again, the best team this year.”

Meanwhile, Inverleith are on a high having remained unbeaten in their last three matches and are now in seventh spot. Tomorrow, they travel to Glasgow to face Clydesdale who are sixth and have suffered three defeats in the last five games.

Grange, who are fifth having only suffered one defeat in their last five games, had last weekend off but re-enter the fray as they entertain Hillhead.
