Andy Cox led the way with two tries as Broughton defeated Bo’ness on Saturday to remain unbeaten at the top of BT East Three.
The Wardie side travelled to West Lothian and won 36-10. Cox’s double was added to by further tries from Dan Blucher, Robert Malcolm and Stuart Somervail, while Andy Hill kicked the rest of the points.
New boys Bo’ness battled hard, though, and with 20 minutes to go Broughton were only 12-10 up before they pulled away.
Broughton now have 24 out of a possible 25 points to lead the division, while at the weekend, Queensferry won 21-7 away at Walkerburn and Gala YM saw off RDVC 30-12.
Dalkeith are still top of BT East One after they came back from Hawick Harlequins with a win under their belts.
The Midlothian men won 41-22, while North Berwick are still third, but their match with Hawick Linden was postponed because the latter could not field a front-row.
Dunbar went to Linlithgow and headed home with a hard fought 19-12 win, with Portobello coming out on top 34-23 at Langholm.
Ross Kilgour, Craig Smith, Steven Eadie and Ross Marwick scored tries for Leith in BT East Two as they edged out Liberton 26-24 away from home.
It means that Leith are in third, while leaders St Boswells dominated Inverleith 107-0.
Second-placed Forrester eased to a 43-7 win over Penicuik with Trinity Accies winning 22-18 at Earlston and Edinburgh Northern victorious 22-12 at Lismore.
