Former Boroughmuir and Watsonians rugby player Neil Cochrane will be playing in England’s top division for the first time next term after he secured a deal with London Wasps.
The ex-Scotland Under-21 captain, now 29, moved to Rotherham Titans back in 2005, just after the age-grade World Championships in Argentina. Three years later he moved to the Doncaster Knights and, following a similar spell there, was persuaded to join Bedford and shift from the back-row to the hooker position.
Now he has earned the move to Wasps and will compete for their No. 2 jersey next season.
