The Edinburgh Evening News has teamed up with Edinburgh Rugby to offer one lucky young reader the chance to lead out their team in the biggest fixture of the year!

Edinburgh Rugby v Glasgow Warriors at BT Murrayfield on Sunday, December 27 is the opening leg of the 1872 Scottish Cup double-header with bragging rights and the iconic trophy at stake. We’re looking for a mascot for Edinburgh Rugby, who’ll run out on to the pitch with their heroes, just before kick-off, wearing the black and red.

HOW TO ENTER

To have a chance of winning this prize, simply answer the following question . .

Who is the head coach of Edinburgh Rugby?

Send your answer to ensportfinal@edinburgh news.com along with your name, address, date of birth and telephone number. Title your email ‘Edinburgh Rugby mascot’.

Closing date is 10am on Monday, December 21.

• Two runners-up for the competition will also receive a free space to one of Edinburgh Rugby’s Camps for P4 to S2-aged children. The winners will have a choice of one of three camps at BT Murrayfield (February 15/16 and April 4/5) or at Kelso RFC (April 12/13).

Edinburgh Rugby camps are fun and enjoyable rugby camps during school holidays for children in school years P4-S2. The camps are open to both boys and girls of all abilities, and the day(s) run from 10am to 3pm. The camps are led by qualified Edinburgh Rugby coaches, and teach various skills and techniques, through the fun games and skills exercises.
