Louie Tang dives for a try playing for Merchiston Castle against Edinburgh Academy in the under-18 final of their annual seven-a-side rugby tournament.
Alas for Tang and his team, it was not enough to prevent the Academy taking the trophy with a 14-7 win.
The sevens festival has been running since 1990 and this year attracted 45 teams from 17 schools, making it the largest of its kind in Scotland. More than 1500 spectators attended.
