Edinburgh Rugby will continue to keep international winger Nikki Walker under wraps on Sunday as they prepare to visit Cardiff.
Premiership team announcements reveal Walker has again been released to play for Hawick having dropped out of the Capital line-up following the away defeat at Ospreys.
During his two appearances for Edinburgh, Walker had little opportunity to impress with ball in hand and the hope must be that game time at club level will help build up sharpness for when attacking chances arise.
As Walker sits out, Edinburgh could recall Matt Scott and Greig Laidlaw after injury on a ground where last season they posted their only win in 16 visits to Wales. However, Cardiff have won five of the last six meetings between the teams.
According to hooker Ross Ford this trip is about atonement. Referring to last weekend’s loss to Scarlets, Ford says: “We wanted to win all our home games, and that’s gone now, which is very disappointing. We’ll have to start again away from home, which is never easy.”
Lions prop Gethin Jenkins is in line for his first Cardiff appearance since returning from Toulon.
