The top four in RBS East One all won at the weekend.
Preston Lodge remained unbeaten at the top and are now averaging more than 50 points a match after they saw off Duns 53-7 at the Pennypit. It means they have defeated every club in the division at the halfway point of the campaign.
RHC are not letting up in their pursuit though and they too secured a comfortable home victory, 74-3 over Hawick Harlequins.
And two East Lothian sides - North Berwick and Dunbar - continue to go well, both winning tighter matches.
Graeme Fairgrieve and Ben Inglis scored unconverted tries as NB won 10-5 at Hawick Linden while Dunbar saw off Linlithgow 17-11 at Hallhill. Andrew Wightman, Ally Brown and Kyle Donnellan scored Dunbar’s tries with one conversion by Jamie Peters.
At the bottom end of the table, Portobello got just their second league win of the season when they saw off Langholm 21-7.
Like PL in the division above Dalkeith have gone through the first half of the RBS East Two season unbeaten, Saturday’s 52-3 away win at Leith making it nine from nine.
Forrester are third and have scored 149 points in two matches after a 71-8 win over Penicuik followed on from their 78-0 victory over Inverleith.
Trinity Accies are still fourth after seeing off Earlston 19-6 while Edinburgh Northern beat Lismore 21-0 and Inverleith lost to Berwick.
In RBS East Three, Liberton defeated Queensferry 20-3 and Ross High managed to win 12-8 at Walkerburn.
