Edinburgh Rugby may never have a better chance to complete what would be their first hat-trick of Rabo Direct Pro 12 League wins since October 2010 after it emerged tomorrow’s opponents, Connacht, have been hit by a flu outbreak.

Reports from Ireland today say the squad are “ravaged” by the bug and have further injury concerns over Johnny O’Connor, Eoghan Grace, Paul O’Donoghue and Jason Harris-Wright,

Also, centre Dave McSharry is also out along with regulars Willie Faloon and Denis Buckley who may miss Ireland’s summer tour of North
America.

Connacht have won only once in eight visits to Murrayfield – back in 2005 – and tomorrow’s match is a chance for Edinburgh to complete a rare
double having won in Galway last Autumn.
