PRESTON LODGE put Hawick Harlequins to the sword on Saturday, running in 16 tries as they won 108-10 in the Borders in RBS East One.

The sensational result means that the East Lothian men have won eight from eight in the league and have scored over 400 points in the process.

PL simply ran riot at Wilton Lodge Park and Graeme Patterson managed to kick 14 conversions to help his side reach three figures.

RHC are still second and they themselves were in the points on the road too at the weekend, winning 71-7 at Langholm.

Linlithgow are in third after beating Portobello 25-12, while North Berwick won the East Lothian derby against Dunbar.

NB scored tries through Kyle Hamilton, Graeme Fairgrieve and Liam West and the later also kicked a penalty.

Dalkeith are still unbeaten at the top of RBS East Two, top try scorers Steven Hamilton and Stephen Paton at it again to help them ease past Edinburgh Northern.

Hamilton grabbed a hat-trick and Paton one as they came through 64-13.

Leith lost 55-7 at Berwick and the Borderers are second, while Forrester are third after a fine showing to defeat Inverleith 78-0.

Trinity Accies won 74-0 at Lismore, while Penicuik lost out 30-15 at The Haugh against Earlston.

Liberton are third in RBS East Three, but lost out 24-8 to Gala YM at the weekend.

Broughton are fourth after beating RDVC 18-7 at Wardie, while Ross High against Moray House was postponed.
