Scotland Under-20s beat Wales 36-34 for a sensational Six Nations victory at Netherdale.
The Scots led 6-0 through two George Horne penalties before Tom Phillips crossed for his second try in two games. Dafydd Howells added a second try, which was converted by Dan Jones.
Although a third Horne penalty closed the gap, tries from Josh Adams and Garyn Smith extended Wales’ lead.
Prop Murray McCallum crossed for Scotland’s first try at the end of the first half and Horne converted.
Horne kicked Scotland within two points of Wales early in the second half before Lewis Carmichael scored Scotland’s second try.
Horne added the extras and, although Jones kicked a penalty for Wales, they saw lock Adam Beard shown a yellow card for a high tackle on Magnus Bradbury.
Scotland took full advantage as Fagerson scored a third try and, although Adams scored his second and Wales’ fifth try, the home side held on.
