Capital snooker players Craig MacGillivray and Derek Dudgeon both enjoyed victories in the group phase of the IBSF World Snooker Masters Championships in Bangalore, India.
MacGillivray made it two wins out of two, comfortably defeating Brazil’s in Julio Cesar Maus 3-0, making runs of 46 and 55 in the second and third frames.
Dudgeon recovered from losing his opening match, defeating Japan’s Masahiro Harada 3-0.
Meanwhile, professionals Michael Leslie and Ross Muir were set to return to action today in the Ruhr Open, European Tour Event 4. Leslie faces world No.22 Ryan Day (Wales), while Muir is up against world No.36 Ben Woollaston (England).
