Bonnyrigg’s Michael Leslie failed in his attempt to return to the professional tour through the opening Q-school event at The Capital Venue in Gloucester, losing 4-1 to England’s Oliver Brown.

Leslie made a slow start, losing the opening two frames before winning the third with a break of 78, and then he lost the next two frames to crash out. Edinburgh’s Ross Vallance is also out after losing out 4-2 to China’s Zhang Anda.

Both players now have one more chance to qualify for the 2014/2015 Professional tour via Event 2 which starts on Friday.
