Lothian snooker professionals Michael Leslie, Scott Donaldson and Ross Muir all failed to make an impression at the Bulgarian Open.

Donaldson made runs of 66 and 53 but lost out 4-2 to England’s Mark Joyce whilst Musselburgh’s Muir lost 4-0 to eventual title winner Mark Allen,

Meanwhile, Edinburgh’s Danny Clark came through a strong field to win the inaugural Hugh Eldon Memorial Trophy at the Locarno Snooker Club. Clark defeated John Williamson in the final 2-1 in the final, receiving a 21 start per frame.
