What has been your most unusual job? Making promo films for celebrity chefs in London.

My biggest achievement so far has been... Writing/directing/producing/publicising our film The Space Between.

My worst moment ever was… Discovering I’m too old to play certain roles...

Three words that sum up my personality are... Ambitious. Determined. Faithful.

Favourite place in the world?

My imagination.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are... Cramond Island. Avalanche Records. Calton Hill.

Who is your best friend? Stand-up comedian David Whitney.

Which TV show do you never miss? Borgen was stunning.

If you could bring one play to Edinburgh what would it be? Life Is A Dream by Calderon de la Barca.

Name one item you could not live without? My laptop.
