Interview: Tony Nicol, DJ

Occupation: DJ.

What schools did you attend? Royston Primary and Broughton High.

What sort of pupil were you? Mischievous, but worked hard.

Were your school days the best days of your life? No.

What was your first job? Bank worker at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where I still am.

What has been your most unusual job? Fruit picker in Australia.

My biggest achievement so far has been... winning the Scottish Movida Corona Final and representing Scotland in the UK Final held in London.

My worst moment ever was... I accidentally smashed a bottle of vodka over my CD case and the majority of my music collection.

Three words that sum up my personality are: Passion, fashion and mashin’ (Ha ha!).

My favourite place in the world is... Sydney, Australia.
