Pick of the club nights

Fuzzy Logic ft. Inbetweeners’ James BuckleyLava-Ignite, West Tollcross, Sunday, 10pm-3am, £5, 0131-228 3252

JAMES BUCKLEY, who plays sex-starved fantasist Jay Cartwright in E4’s award-winning comedy The Inbetweeners, steps into the roll of DJ for a special appearance when he plays Fuzzy Logic on Sunday night.

In between filming the big-screen version of The Inbetweeners and playing Del Boy in Rock And Chips, a one-off prequel to Only Fools And Horses, the Croydon-born actor has been DJ-ing up and down the country, recently covering for Zane Lowe on Radio 1.

He’s more than capable, then, of banging out a party vibe for Edinburgh revellers – or, as eloquent Jay might say, “When I say I’m gonna deliver, I f****** deliver.”

If you haven’t been to Fuzzy Logic before, expect fun, frolics and a big party atmosphere at one of the most popular student nights in the UK, where mainstream dance, electro, R&B and indie – not to mention outrageously-priced drinks promotions – are the order of the day.

A recipe for a seriously good time, then, and for some an Inbetweeners-style night out complete with humiliating shenanigans.

Think the dance scene in the recent movie version of the hit TV series and you’ve got it nailed.
