With a title that references the ending of the longest running play on the West End, The Mousetrap, The Real Inspector Hound follows the age old conceit of a play within a play.
The Real Inspector Hound, much like Stoppard’s earlier play Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, examines the ideas of fate and free will in this parody of the melodramatic parlour murder mystery.
