SNL chairman promises more depth next season as Murrayfield Racers stroll

Murrayfield Racers progressed to the Scottish National League play-off finals, to be held this weekend at Dundee Ice Arena, in what can only be described as farcical fashion, beating Solway Stingrays 30-0 in their play-off quarter-final at Murrayfield tonight. Experienced Racers’ player/assistant coach Martin Cingel lead the rout with seven goals.

Murrayfield Racers enjoy title party – and look to build on success

Minutes after Murrayfield Racers were presented with the Scottish National League trophy, following their 8-1 home win over Kilmarnock Thunder tonight, club director Willie Dunn declared that winning the league title in their debut season was only the start of a long journey for the club, and then proclaimed: “But tonight, we’re going to party!”

Murrayfield Racers boss Tony Hand targeting two big wins in title race

Murrayfield Racers director of hockey Tony Hand admits his side will be in a “fantastic position” to lift the Scottish National League title if they can get the better of current champions and pacesetters Dundee Comets on Tayside on Saturday – then second-placed Kirkcaldy Kestrels at Murrayfield on Sunday (face-off 6pm).
