Another Elm Row gem, Harburn Hobbies has been praised as "one of the best model shops ever". They specialise in model railways, die casts, construction kits, as well as gifts and jigsaws.

Ali's Cave in Lothian Road is a one stop shop for household items, DIY, greeting cards, gifts and more. "You name they have it," one customer wrote, "It's not a huge shop but they have never let me down!"
