Superdrug to open new ‘platinum’ store at Edinburgh St James Quarter

The new Edinburgh St James Quarter store, which is set to open in the first phase of opening of the new retail and lifestyle destination, also features its very own Beauty Studio area where customers can access professional treatments at affordable prices, available once again in line with the national government guidelines.

Within Beauty Studio, customers will have access to threading services and two nail bars offering classic and gel manicures.

The store will create 30 new jobs and offer customers access to the latest health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments and luxury fragrances.

Shoppers will also be able to choose from a wide range of health and beauty products, including Superdrug’s popular own brand ranges Naturally Radiant, Vitamin C, Me+, Layering Lab as well as Solait suncare and baby range, My Little Star.

Beauty enthusiasts will be able to access exclusive beauty and personal care brands including the likes of Revolution, MUA, GOSH and Beauty Laundrette as well as brand new Missguided Beauty and EXI Cosmetics.

Shoppers will also have the chance to sign up to Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard to collect points to redeem on future purchases, with exclusive offers available for cardholders, including lower member prices, bonus points offers, birthday treats and the option to pay with points.

Alongside Superdrug’s usual beauty offering, the Edinburgh St James store will showcase a new Skinnydip stand where shoppers will be able to browse the range of lifestyle and fashion accessories including phone cases, nightwear and slippers.

Nigel Duxbury, property director at Superdrug, said “We are so pleased to be announcing the opening of our brand new Edinburgh store in the amazing new St James Quarter, and to be continuing to invest in the high-street.

“With a wide range of popular health and beauty brands, a luxury fragrance counter and a professional Beauty Studio to be opened in line with the government guidance, we’re confident that our customers will love the new store.”

The new store will be open from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 8pm, and 10am and 6pm on Sundays.
