Christmas school holidays 2019: when do the schools break up for Christmas in Edinburgh and the Lothians - and when they're back in January 2020

The Christmas holidays are almost upon us, with children across Edinburgh and the Lothians looking forward to two whole weeks of freedom.

With so much to organise, from Christmas dinner to New Year’s Eve celebrations, it’s good to be prepared for when the kids are off school.
