In Scotland, 1,118 new positive cases were confirmed on Saturday with 400 in Greater Glasgow and Clyde and 218 in Lanarkshire.

To date, 92 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid-19 and 1,198 people and being treated in hospital having contracted the virus.

During the week ending November 14, 7,807 people tested positive for the first time.
