Coronavirus in Scotland: 120 new cases in the Lothians as country records 36 deaths in 24 hours

A total of 120 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Lothians in the last 24 hours as Scotland records 36 new deaths.

In Scotland, 1,118 new positive cases were confirmed on Saturday with 400 in Greater Glasgow and Clyde and 218 in Lanarkshire.

To date, 92 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed Covid-19 and 1,198 people and being treated in hospital having contracted the virus.

During the week ending November 14, 7,807 people tested positive for the first time.

The total number of deaths so far in Scotland now stands at 3,280 while confirmed Covid-19 cases have reached 80,135 since the pandemic hit in March this year.
