Coronavirus in Scotland: 180 new cases in Lothian as Scotland records its highest numbers ever

There has been 806 positive cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours in Scotland, with 180 of them in Lothian.

The First Minister, speaking at her daily briefing, has warned that this could be a delay in recorded cases from the weekend.

This total number is the highest ever recorded in Scotland.

There are 123 people in hospital after testing positive, and 14 patients are in intensive care.

There were no recorded deaths.

Ms Sturgeon has warned that the transmission is increasing across all age ranges.
