Coronavirus in Scotland: Record 806 positive cases recorded in last 24 hours

There has been 806 positive cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours in Scotland.

The First Minister, speaking at her daily briefing, has warned that this could be a delay in recorded cases from the weekend.

This number is the highest ever recorded in Scotland.

302 of the cases are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde and 180 of them are in the Lothian area.

There are 123 people in hospital after testing positive, and 14 patients are in intensive care.

There were no recorded deaths.

Ms Sturgeon has warned that the transmission is increasing across all age ranges.
