Europe’s largest climbing arena in Ratho will be reopening its doors after lockdown.
The Edinburgh International Climbing Arena will be open to the public on Monday, September 21, with bookings for members going live at 9 pm on September 17 and for non members a day later.

Hide AdEmma Ogilvie-Hall, Manager at EICA said: “We know our climbers have missed the fantastic facilities at Ratho, and we’ve missed them and can’t wait to welcome them back.”
The reopening of the EICA, operated by Edinburgh Leisure, is one of seven of their facilities that are welcoming back customers across the city.
The following Edinburgh Leisure facilities have already reopened in the Capital:
Ainslie Park Leisure Centre
Craiglockhart Leisure and Tennis Centre
Drumbrae Leisure Centre
The Royal Commonwealth Pool
Leith Victoria
Gracemount Leisure Centre
Patrons must book ahead of time and strict guidelines are implemented throughout to ensure maximum safety.
