Nine areas in Edinburgh that recorded no new coronavirus cases between October 4 and October 10

Figures released by the Scottish Government show that nine areas in Edinburgh haven’t reported a single coronavirus case in the last seven days.

This data from Public Health Scotland gives a breakdown of the number of cases per region across the whole country and includes the population of each area for context.

Not included in this list, the worst hit area in Edinburgh is Newington and Dalkeith Road with 179 new cases reported in the seven day period.

This list covers data from October 4 to October 10. Over this seven day period, 730 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the City of Edinburgh, that’s 139.1 per 100,000 population.
