This data from Public Health Scotland gives a breakdown of the number of cases per region across the whole country and includes the population of each area for context.

When an area has less than three coronavirus cases, the data is displayed as 0-2 cases to protect patient privacy.

This list is made up of the areas in Edinburgh with the highest populations, there are several other areas which also recorded low numbers of coronavirus cases in the last seven days.

Not included in this list, the worst hit area in Edinburgh is Murrayburn and Wester Hailes North with 12 new cases reported over the last week.
