Games on in Lothians

The West Lothian Highland Games will take place at Meadow Park, in Bathgate, on Saturday.

It will be preceded by the beating of the retreat at 7.30pm on Friday evening in the precinct area of Bathgate town centre.

On Saturday, the Chieftain’s Parade leaves at 10.30am from the Balbardie Hotel to Meadow Park via George Street, North Bridge Street, South Bridge Street and Glasgow Road.

The official opening of the games will be at 11am.
