Holiday reminder to stock up on medicine

people in the Lothians are being reminded to plan ahead and make sure they don’t run out of any vital medication over the Easter break.

The Be Ready for Easter campaign reminds people to check their repeat prescriptions and to re-stock their medicine cabinet with remedies for common ailments.

NHS 24 medical director Professor George Crooks said: “With many GP surgeries closed for four days over the Easter holiday weekend, it’s vital to plan ahead and ensure you and your family stay well this spring.”
