Supermarkets to cut cost of petrol from tomorrow

Asda and Sainsbury's are to cut the cost of fuel by up to two pence from tomorrow.

Asda announced that it will be dropping the price of fuel by up to 2ppl, bringing prices down to a new national price cap of 112.7ppl on unleaded and 114.7ppl on diesel at all 301 filling stations.

The drop is as a result of wholesale prices continuing to fall.

Sainsbury’s also announced that it will be reducing the price of fuel from tomorrow across the UK.
