Award-winning gin maker Eden Mill open festive pop-up shop in Edinburgh

The pop-up store in The Gyle Shopping Centre will stock the brand’s festive range, including the 12 Gins of Christmas Gift Set, Candy Cane Christmas Gin and the recently launched Candy Cane Mojito pre-mixed cocktail, perfect presents for the gin lover in your life.

Paul Miller, co-founder of Eden Mill, says, “We are setting out to challenge the assertion that shopping mall’s no longer have the appeal as the trend toward ‘virtual’ purchasing continues. We believe that shops with the right ‘experience’ and ‘offering’ can still play a vital role in the mix of brand development and customer engagement.’”

He continues, “As we reach the run up to Cyber Week and Black Friday, we wanted to be able to offer a personalised experience for customers to be able to physically visit our store and experience the product before make the all important Christmas purchase.”

Within the pop-up store, customers will be treated to a choice of Eden Mill gin, liqueurs, single malt whisky and premium gift set options. From secret Santa gifts, gifts for loved ones and single malt enthusiasts, there is something for everyone.

St Andrew's based Eden Mill were Scotland’s first single site brewery and distillery, making it their mission to revive the lost art of distilling and brewing gin, beer and whisky in the town.

Based on the historic original site of the Seggie Distillery, run by the Haig family until 1860, Eden Mill are the first to make spirits in the region in 150 years. As well as gin, Eden Mill have carved a formidable reputation with their award winning super-premium craft beers and are now bringing whisky distilling back to the region.

In 2018, Eden Mill released the first Single Malt whisky to be distilled in St Andrews in more than 150 years - the First Bottling was sold at auction and broke the world record for a first release at £7,100.

Eden Mill’s Gyle Shopping Centre pop-up store will be open seven days a week and can be found in Unit 61.
