Takeaway fans in Edinburgh are in for a treat tomorrow as Deliveroo are giving away thousands of pounds worth of prizes for one day only.

On Wednesday 27 November, Deliveroo Golden Riders will pedal through the Capital, kitted out in a gold outfit and gold bicycle.

Deliveroo credit prizes ranging from £5 to £5,000 will be up for grabs and those who share their augmented reality experience on social media, will automatically be entered into a ballot to win free food for a full month.

Sophie Headlam, Head of Social at Deliveroo said: “Think Pokémon Go, but instead of Charizard, you get a cheeseburger.

“Our Golden Rider campaign is the perfect blend of cutting-edge AR technology and amazing food.”
