Fortitude hopes to open the doors to its Stockbridge coffee spot on 7 February and will offer a simple food menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch options as well as showcasing quality seasonal ingredients.

Helen Coburn of Fortitude Coffee said: “It’s taken us a long time to get to this point but we are so excited by this project.

“This cafe will give us a bit more space to explore new menu ideas and to work with some exciting new equipment.

“We have a great team in place and we are looking forward to getting to know the neighbourhood.

“Our aim is to serve our full range of speciality coffee in a relaxed and welcoming space and we are lucky to be opening in a beautiful building with high ceilings and fantastic wall tiles. They create a wonderful backdrop for our new cafe and it’s been a pleasure to keep these historic elements in the design.”
