Six by Nico’s first menu of 2020 has been revealed - and diners have the chance to decide what will be served up.

The new menu which begins on Tuesday 7 January will feature the ‘Best of 2019’ dishes and Chef Nico Simeone is inviting the public to vote on the six dishes they enjoyed most throughout the year to create a six-course tasting menu that will include the top picks.

The concept restaurant has served up some memorable dishes over the past 12 months with influences coming from across the globe.

In 2019 diners have already enjoyed menus themed around New York City, The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Paris, Guilty Pleasures, Catalonia, The Orient Express and Thai Street Food.

Until 30 December, Six By Nico will be running polls across their social media channels which will give guests the opportunity to select their highlights from the years previous menu concepts and themes.

“We are always seeking to evolve and improve the dining experience and our guest’s feedback plays a major role in helping us do just that.

“Therefore, we thought it was only right that we left our first menu concept of the decade in the hands of those who dine frequently with us"

How to vote for your favourite

Voting is currently open and guests can choose from the following options.

Course one: Bombas (Catalonia) vs French Onion (Paris)

Course two: Butternut Spring Roll (Thai Street Food) vs Fresh Burrata (Mexico)

Course three: Beef Bourguignon (Paris) vs Pancakes & Bacon (Childhood)

Course four: Milan (Orient Express) vs Curried Cod (Guilty Pleasures)

Course five: Off With His Head (The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party) vs Penang Chicken (Thai Street Food)

Course six: Creme Brulee (Paris) vs Istanbul (Orient Express)

The menu is currently available to book and will run until 16 February 2020.

Nico added: “It is fascinating to uncover what food memories stay with guests after they visit our restaurants and with this theme kicking off 2020's concepts we are able to serve up something special for those who love us most."

Voting is open on their Instagram pages @sixbynico and on their Facebook account.

Voting closes on 30th December 2019, and the new menu will be announced shortly after.

‘Best of 2019’ will run from Tuesday 7th January - Sunday 16th February 2020.
