After opening up to investors on Monday, Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn have broken the million pound mark.

Their crowdfunding campaigned opened at the beginning of the week and they have already surpassed a third of their goal investment.

The brewers will open the doors to its 'Beer Bank' at 69 North Castle Street in Edinburgh for the final time tonight to give potential 'Beer Money' investors the chance to learn more and to taste their latest creation.

Innis & Gunn hope to raise £3M to help build the first large scale brewery in Edinburgh for over 150 years and investments start from £20.

Their latest beer, (7.29%) APR brew The beer is a reminder of the strong financial return delivered to Innis & Gunn’s 1,105 Beer Bond holders, while gently poking a bit of fun at more traditional forms of investing.
