Daniel Bunce, GDK UK and Europe Managing Director, said: “We are very proud to grow the German Doner Kebab brand across Edinburgh, having taken the city to our hearts since day one.

“The iconic Waverley Mall has long been in our sights for a restaurant and when the opportunity presented itself, we jumped at the opportunity.

“The success of our Lothian Road restaurant has blown us away and it is our hope that we can replicate that once we open our doors to our second Edinburgh site.”

Their menu offers fresh and healthy kebabs, wraps, quesadillas, burgers and doner boxes as well as a selection of sides including flaming fries, doner nachos and doner spring rolls.

The chain is listed as one of the UK’s fastest growing restaurant chains, with 40 outlets already opened throughout the past two years.
