A new cafe offering vegan breakfasts has opened in Musselburgh.

The Harbour Cafe Fisherrow on New Street started serving up its new menu since new management took over the venue this month.

Customers can now enjoy freshly baked pastries, soups, burgers and vegan-friendly breakfast options.

She said: "We have had such a positive response so far which is just great.

"People seem to really like the food.

"I am not sure there are many places in Musselburgh that serve vegan and vegetarian options for people so it's great to be able to offer that."

"We are open six days a week from 8am until 5pm, with our day off being Wednesday, " she added.

"It's a lovely spot to come down and enjoy some food or a coffee."

The cafe is dog-friendly and can be found in 222 New Street, Musselburgh.
