@pizza calls upon Edinburgh to help crowdfund for the UK’s first pizza drive-thru in the Capital

A pizza restaurant in Edinburgh is calling upon hungry fans to help crowdfund to bring the UK’s first pizza drive-thru to the Capital.

The semi-permanent drive-thru pizza unit, from @pizza, will offer freshly made bespoke pizzas which are ready in three minutes, allowing visitors to maintain social distancing while accessing the food.

The restaurant will also be opening two new sites in addition to their West End restaurant by the end of 2021.

Edinburgh residents now have the opportunity to invest in the innovative start up as it begins it’s expansion in the Capital and across the UK.

Currently voted the number one ranked pizza restaurant in Edinburgh on TripAdvisor @pizza has impressed with their concept and pizza fans can now invest from as little as £10.

Investments will earn lifetime rewards giving 25% off your food bill for life, a free pizza on your birthday every year and the chance to design and name your own pizza for the menu.

The crowdfunding round will take the form of an equity crowdfund through the Crowdcube platform.

The company have said that investments will grow by 10% per annum and will be repayable in 36 months.

If a further funding round takes place within 36 months the investment will be convertible at a 25% discount to the prevailing share price being offered.

@pizza’s menu rejects traditional structure, allowing the customer to design their own pizza from the base up with a choice of over 64,000 combinations with all coming at a fixed price.
