Some of our favourite restaurants are opening on April 26, while others have planned their relaunches a little later.
For now, you can feast your eyes on these dishes, which have been in development during lockdown, but will be available to sit in soon, depending on regulations.

1. Hanoi Bike Shop's Vietnamese bacon and eggs
Hanoi Bike Shop will be offering this brand new dish - Vietnamese bacon and eggs, vermicelli noodle cakes, radish and herb salad and sambal - when they reopen on April 26.

2. The Ubiquitous Chip's lamb dish
The Ubiquitous Chip will be offering an eight course tasting menu, with dishes including the Tweed Valley lamb loin, courgette and anchovy. Its open from outside drinks from April 26 and inside dining from April 29.

3. Haylynn Canteen's babka
Head chef of Glasgow's new Haylynn Canteen, Robbie Morrow, has created this warm chocolate and hazelnut babka, clotted cream, honey and rose, in time for them re-opening on April 26

4. The Gannet's diver scallops
The Gannet recently announced plans to open a second Edinburgh restaurant in the summer. Their chef and owner, Peter McKenna, has shared this creation - maple and kelp cured diver scallop, pickled black trumpet, apple, dill, cucumber and Bowmore 15-year-old ice - to be served in their Glasgow restaurant when it reopens on May 19. 1155 Argyle Street, www.thegannetgla.com
