Scotland's Home of the Year: Take a look inside three Lothian entries which wowed Kate Spiers, Anna Campbell-Jones and Michael Angus including an Edinburgh town house, a Leith 'castle' and an East Lothian cottage

This week BBC Scotland was in the Lothians on its quest to find Scotland’s Home of the Year 2021.

The popular property show is travelling around Scotland judging three of the most exciting homes in each area, with one being crowned regional winner each week and going through to the final.

With judges Kate Spiers, Anna Campbell-Jones and Michael Angus scoring it 10 out of 10, a ‘unique’ town house in Edinburgh’s New Town enjoyed first place in the Lothians in Wednesday night’s episode.

Second was a recently renovated corner tenement, named “Castle Glimpse" in Leith and third was a gorgeous cottage in East Lothian.
