Innis & Gunn offer the chance to gift a beer lover their name on the wall of 'Edinburgh's biggest brewery'

In their efforts to gain £3 million worth of funds, Innis & Gunn are offering investors the chance to gift shares from their Beer Money crowdfunder.

The offer follows a surge of requests to be able to gift shares to beer lovers and the brewer has answered the call in time for the year’s most infamous shopping day.

The Beer Money crowdfunder aims to raise the money to create the largest brewery built in the Capital in 150 years.

“We’ve had loads of folk get in touch since we launched the crowd fund asking about buying shares as a gift, and we thought this week would be the best time to make their wishes come true.

“£20 worth of Innis & Gunn shares gets their name on the brewery and a lot more besides. “It’s also a great way to guarantee you don’t get in a fist fight over a TV from 2012 in your local supermarket that’ll be on sale come January anyway. “

Investments begin at £20 and guarantee the name of the recipient will make it on to the wall of Innis & Gunn’s new brewery.

The investment also includes a personalised gift certificate, community membership, an invitation to the annual AGM event and brewery opening party, a free birthday pint and priority access to new beers.

In the three years since its last crowdfund Innis & Gunn has grown to almost 21 million pints and increased turnover to over £25 million.
