The service has already been rolled out at a supermarket in Killingbeck, near Leeds.

Customers living within a two-mile radius of the Asda Kitchen are eligible for home delivery from 11.50am until the store closes. The menu includes a £15 meal deal with a pizza, four sides, drink, dessert and dip.

Sixteen-inch Margherita, American Sizzler, Pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas will all cost just £6. By comparison the largest Margherita pizza on offer at Dominos Pizza, costs £15.99.

James Ainger, Asda’s Senior Buying Manager, said: "We are really excited to be trialling this new service in our store in Killingbeck, along with plans to roll out to three more stores later this month. We know our customers love Asda pizzas and now they can have them delivered to their doorstep.”
