As the release date for Avengers: Infinity War nears, The Pop Up Geeks have been hard at work creating ‘the drinks of superheroes’.

The Capital’s Pop Up Geeks specialise in, as their name suggests, pop up theme bars. In the past their Game of Thrones’ bar Blood And Wine, on Dublin Street, proved a huge success.

Now the small independent team are using their passion for all things geeky to create a new unique and immersive drinking experience to mark the arrival of the latest Avengers movie, which was filmed in the Capital.

To celebrate the launch The Pop Up Geeks have partnered with Fireside on East Market Street, to bring you Infinity: Drinks in the City of Superheroes.

“We’ll be serving up six cocktails, each one inspired by one of the six stones of power which combined will allow the user to bend reality to their will,” explains Linden Wilkinson.

“We’ll be working alongside Fireside and a number of other local business to also bring a selection of fantastic beers, spirits, street food and entertainment to the event and 50% of our profits will be donated to Make-A-Wish UK.”

Infinity: Drinks in the City of Superheroes will be held at Fireside in the Arches, just down the road from The Pop Up Geeks permanent pop up, from 3pm to 1am on Friday 27 April and again between noon and 1am on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April.

That’s not all The Pop Up Geeks have planned for the city’s pub scene.

Wilkinson reveals, “On 5 May we’ll be launching Wubba Lubba Dub Dub, our new sci-fi themed cocktail menu, which will run until 27 July at our home in the Arches.

“Guest are invited to join us for some High concept Sci-Fi rigamarole and try through our massive selection of inter dimensional cocktails, Solenya Pickle Backs and craft beers.”
