For those of us who haven’t started doing our Christmas shopping yet, the event is described as “a fantastic opportunity to get those last minute Christmas gift and enjoy the Christmas spirit”.

Where and when is it on?

The Christmas Market will take place inside The Edinburgh Academy (42 Henderson Row, EH3 5BL) on Saturday 30 November 2019.

The market will be located in the Main Hall of the Academy, with a variety of stalls to browse through.

It will run from 10am to 1:30pm.

How to get there

The Edinburgh Academy is accessible in a variety of ways, no matter how you choose to travel.

The academy is easily reached on foot, only being around a 15 minute walk from Princes Street.

The walking route is essentially a straight line from Frederick Street.

There are a couple different Lothian bus routes that will get you within a five minute walking distance from the venue.

Service 23, 24, 27, 29 and 36 are all buses you’ll want to keep an eye out for.

Event goers are encouraged to come on foot or via public transport - however, if you need to drive to the event, be aware that there’s no on-site parking. There is on-street parking nearby and also pay and display car parks in Edinburgh.
